Corn/Green Chili/Turkey Chowder

Just finished the last of my turkey/corn/green chili chowder. I took Christy Sanchez’s recipe and modified it some.

1 medium onion, diced
3 cups milk
1 1/2 can corn, but it could have used some more
2 large potatos, diced
2 cups chopped cooked turkey – I think it would be good without the turkey
1 can cream of mushroom
1 can water for cream of mushroom
1 cup green chili, diced
Salt and pepper to taste

1. Sauté the onion
2. Blend about 1/2 of the corn and milk until smooth. Add to onion.
3. Add cream of mushroom and water, stir well
4. Add remaining milk, corn, potatoes, green chili and turkey
5. Bring to boil, then let simmer about 20 minutes or until potatos are cooked

UPDATE: The last time I made this, I replaced the potato with Mexican squash and the Turkey with Chicken. It was fantastic.
